I've been thinking a lot about my list of things I want to accomplish ASAP and yet time and distractions cause me to lose focus and determination. I'm at that place where there is so much to do, I am overwhelmed.
Today:
1) Hopefully finish downloading some pictures I took on my phone that have been waiting for a new home in my new computer. I didn't realize how many I had on there!!
2) Prepare testing sheets for students
3) Email fellow teachers to request requirement information for student testing

I feel as though I am starting my new year a week late. Christmas came and went so quickly as did my children and I miss them dearly. I miss them being little when I could throw my arms around them at any given moment.
I started a new student yesterday - she is 70+ years of age! I'm excited! There are certainly different challenges teaching an older person. I do pray she does not become discouraged.
The day is nearly over, and there is still so much to do...
The day is nearly over, and there is still so much to do...
Psalm 90:12
So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Your life is interesting from the outside looking in.....new student, new exercise program, and you are in charge of it all. I wish I could do either of the two.
ReplyDeleteYou make a point Linda that I have actually been thinking on already. You and Terri and others around me are having so many physical issues of one or another and I myself have a few. Perhaps it is finally sinking in to this old brain of mine that I need to take advantage of the time I have to accomplish my goals before it's too late and I am no longer physically able to do so.
DeleteI do pray your situation improves soon and you too and do more of what you want.
I'm trying to accomplish an installation of the 2013 McAfee "Total Protection" onto my computer and backup my files which includes many charished pictures of my family and special events in our lives. If I can successfully get that much done this week, I will be able to continue steps toward achieving my New Year goals.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and success with your '2013' endeavors. Likewise, wish me success with mine.
Best Wishes,
Diana Freeman
I too am working through my files...I know...it's a long, tedious process. I most certainly wish you great success on your projects.
