Hello Sunshine!

We are expecting record temperatures today...in the low 40's! It is so nice to see the sun; I am a totally different person when the sun is shining. Best get out and enjoy it today, the rest of the week calls for rain turning to snow, then Gandolf will hit!

Already today I have dusted, vacummed, mopped, washed dishes and wiped down the counters. After a quick shower I will be heading off to the grocery store - since we finally got a half paycheck yesterday - then back home to work-out and make some cards. No students today.

Daughter #2 made it back home safely last night after visiting with her Honey's family. I imagine we'll see them both on Sunday.

Well...time to get going...

  1. Hope you get the things needed done today, before the really bad weather sets in.

    1. Yes, bills are all paid and the groceries are all put away. I guess I'm as ready for the storm as I can be. :P

  2. We have had record temps yesterday and today - in the mid 80s! Much too hot for January. Lots of sunshine, and we had to turn the air conditioning on again. You sure got a lot accomplished in one morning. More energy than I've had lately! Hope you got everything you needed at the store! Wishing you a good Friday, Julie!

  3. Stay safe, O.K.

We had temps in the 70's today and will stay there through next Thursday and then it will be sixty. Someone told me today that they are predicting snow next Friday. Now that is some crazy weather. Guess, we will have to wait and see.

  4. We are enjoying beautiful weather too! All the snow is gone and yesterday the temp reached 58 and today it is suppose to be the same! My friend posted on her facebook that her little girl went outside to get the mail and when she came in she told her mom, "I love the way that spring smells". Haha..Have a great weekend!

  5. I've been trying to get caught up on all the blogs I've missed the last few days. I'm glad you have a new student and I hope she's determined enough to not get discouraged.
We also had a few nice warm days, but they didn't last long. I'm ready for spring.
    Take care. God bless.

  6. The weather has been crazy from unseasonably warm to freezing rain today brr! Sure hope this weekend will be alright.

I just can't get motivated to get out much this week but my dog loves walks so I did that when it's not too bad out and dress warm.

Hope you have a great weekend
