A Hodgepodge That's Easy To Love

1. What's the last thing you did that someone else thought was super?
I took a couple of friends on a tour of local pipe organs and they loved every minute.

2. The last thing you ate that tasted superb?
My oatmeal pie

3. Supersensitive, superstitious, superwoman, superambitious, supercilious, supervisor, superficial...pick a super word from the list and tell us how it relates to your life in some way recently or currently.
The word I choose is superficial. With only one or two exceptions, most of the relationships I have in life right now are superficial.

4. Do you love easily? If you're comfortable doing so, explain why you think that is.
I used to but I've been hurt so many times I am very cautious now.

5. Valentine's Day lands on a Tuesday this year. Will you mark the day in some way? If you're celebrating with a dinner out somewhere will it be on Tuesday or will you celebrate over the weekend?
Hubby has hockey that night so I'm not sure if I'll do a special meal at home or not. He traditionally buys me a few red roses and I'll make him a card and give him a special candy bar.

6. What's something you are loving right now?
My bowl of popcorn, it's my favorite snack

7 Write a three word (or less) phrase you'd like to see on a Valentine candy heart.
"I'll do dishes"

8.  Insert your own random thought here.
I'm praising God my Hubby wasn't injured in a roll-over accident this past weekend. He was on his way home from a refereeing assignment, hit some black ice and rolled his truck off the shoulder. No bumps, not even a scratch. We're still waiting to hear back from the insurance adjuster.

  1. That's incredible that your husband didn't sustain any injuries from his wreck...God was watching over him!

  2. I'm so glad your husband wasn't injured. Black ice is so scary! Popcorn is my favorite snack too. When my hubs travels it is sometimes my dinner : )

  3. Praising God with you for your husband's safety! I hate black ice. I've only driven on it a few times in my life, thankfully and managed to stay in the road (with the help of angels, I have often thought). Unless I *have* to drive I just don't go out in winter storms. But black ice is so sneaky, you can be on top of it before you're aware of it. So thankful for your hubby's safety.

Love your candy heart phrase. In my house that would work out to "I'll vacuum." I don't mind dishes (though Mr. T) does them on occasion, but I truly dislike vacuuming.

    Enjoyed your Hodgepodge today!

  5. Oh my! So happy to read that your husband was not hurt one bit in such a life threatening situation. God really stepped into the gap for him. I am sure that your husband will always remember God's intervening on his behalf. Life could be so very different right now. Sunday sounds like a good day for celebrating Valentine's Day. I like the "I'll Do Dishes" line.
